چکیده

Electrical exploration has become an important means of shale gas reservoir and evaluation, is expected to play a key role in the later stages fracturing development. At present, research on electrical response characteristics reservoirs their relationship with parameters extensive in-depth, but there little complex resistivity anisotropy influencing factors, which restricts petrophysical modeling parameter prediction, reduces reliability evaluation by electromagnetic methods. In this paper, samples from Longmaxi Formation Wufeng wells southern Sichuan were collected, 34 shales bedding direction vertical measured, induced polarization (IP) extracted inversion. The under different temperature pressure conditions analyzed, factors laws revealed. Combined test results porosity permeability, model resistivity, polarizability permeability was established. have formed set testing methods analysis techniques for reservoirs, are mainly based testing. It helpful understand Sichuan; will provide theoretical physical basis monitoring exploration.

Comparison of Three Key Marine Shale Reservoirs in the Southeastern Margin of the Sichuan Basin, SW China

This study performs a comprehensive comparison of three key marine shale reservoirs in the southeastern margin of the Sichuan Basin, and explains why commercial gas production was only achieved in the Lower Silurian Longmaxi (LSL) and Upper Ordovician Wufeng (UOW) formations, but not in the Lower Cambrian Niutitang (LCN) formation. The experimental methods included in situ gas content and gas c...

Organoporosity Evaluation of Shale: A Case Study of the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale in Southeast Chongqing, China

The organopores play an important role in determining total volume of hydrocarbons in shale gas reservoir. The Lower Silurian Longmaxi Shale in southeast Chongqing was selected as a case to confirm the contribution of organopores (microscale and nanoscale pores within organic matters in shale) formed by hydrocarbon generation to total volume of hydrocarbons in shale gas reservoir. Using the mat...

Wellbore Stability in Shale Formation Using Analytical and Numerical Simulation

Optimization of drilling fluid parameters such as mud weight, salt concentration, and temperature is essential to alleviate instability problems during drilling through shale sections. The selection of suitable mud parameters can benefit from analyses that consider significant instability processes involved in shale-drilling–fluid interactions. This paper describes the development of analytical...
